Using a medical grade autoclave, Manicure implements are sterilised and packaged, which is the highest standard of clean there is. All Callus foot-files are disposed of after every client. This level of cleanliness allows you to truly enjoy the experience and leave your worries at the door. Every pedicure starts with a medical grade sanitised soaking basin. At your request our nail technicians will wear gloves for further protection during your service at The Ayana Spa.

What is an Autoclave?

It's a medical grade tool, used to sterilise all stainless steel nail tools and implements. An Autoclaves uses high-pressure steam to raise the boiling point of water to a temperature of 121 deg C - 134 deg C that kills all infections and harmful infections as listed above. It's the highest level of sterilisation available.

Personal callus foot files.

At Ayana Spa we do not believe in sharing personal tools like Callus foot-files. This is why we have introduced two new options for your safety and hygiene. Purchasing your very own foot file at RO 3.000 (We will disinfect it for you and store it in a sealed bag till your next visit.) Purchase a single use disposable foot files at 300 Baisa.

How do I know the implements have been sterilised?

Ask to see the colour indications on the side of the pouch. They are a dark grey or brown spots that indicates that the proper sterilisation temperature has been achieved. Sealed pouch must be opened within your sight.
